One value. A different unit.

Meet ZaRaster – Unit Converter, a new standalone ManniBest app for converting units. This page gives you a first look at the project.

In preparation

The Android app is in preparation for release. The current project includes a test version; a public store link and release date have not been confirmed.

Find the right unit

Convert lengths, areas, volumes, mass, temperature, energy and many technical quantities. The current catalogue contains 1,094 units across 83 quantity categories. Search by name, symbol or an input such as “5 miles in km”.

More than a unit converter

  • Instant results, interchangeable source and target units, and copying or sharing results.
  • Mixing ratios, recipe scaling and concentration calculations, with locally saved recipes.
  • Formula calculators for density, power and time, voltage, gradients and more.
  • Compose units, add your own linear units, and save favourites and a local history.
  • Light and dark themes, configurable precision, and German or English number formatting.

Understand the units you use

The built-in lexicon contains 1,192 articles explaining definitions, origins and uses. US and Imperial measures, temperature scales and other variants remain clearly distinguished.

Calculate offline

Calculations, the catalogue, saved recipes and favourites work offline. The Android app supports Android 8.0 and later. Advertising and purchase processing require an internet connection.

Planned availability

The project includes banner advertising and an optional one-time purchase to remove ads. All calculator features are intended to remain available in the free version. Confirmed store information will be added here before release.

A separate app in the ZaRaster family

The Unit Converter is a separate project from the ZaRaster number puzzle app. Looking for the puzzles? Explore ZaRaster number puzzles and logic.
